The learning game that ends itself.
Zoomi is an adaptive momentum-racing world for ages 3–6. Every answer is fuel, no child ever loses — and when the session is over, the whole world yawns, waves goodnight, and genuinely stops. On purpose.
See the goodnight for yourself
Twenty seconds: the race, the learning, and the moment Zoomi says goodnight — so screen time ends without a fight.
Nothing to tap by accident, nothing to sell to your kid.
Zoomi never pings, nags, or guilt-trips your family.
A goodnight ritual instead of a lockout tantrum.
No accounts, no servers, no analytics. Nothing leaves home.
Cars, planes, restaurants — no connection needed.
Fifteen minutes of momentum, then goodnight.
One simple idea powers everything: your child is always moving, always winning a little — and the session has a real, gentle end.
Always moving
Zoomi zooms through a sunny meadow while questions appear as part of the world — three big answer pads, everything voice-narrated, zero reading required. Right answers fire the rockets: the faster your child thinks, the more spectacular the ride gets.
Wrong answers become micro-lessons
There is no buzzer and no fail state. Miss one, and Zoomi gently coasts — never stops — while the correct answer acts itself out for three seconds: the apples count themselves out loud. Then the ride rolls on. No child ever loses.
The world goes to sleep
After the session you set (15 minutes by default), the meadow drifts into golden hour, Zoomi yawns, pulls into its nest, and waves goodnight. Then the app genuinely stops — no “one more?”, no notifications. Waking it up again is a parent-only job.
Built on research, not hunches.
Zoomi borrows from four well-studied areas of learning research. We kept the parts that hold up and left out the retention tricks that don’t belong anywhere near a preschooler.
Two findings stayed with us while we built it: 84.6% of parents say they feel screen-time guilt, and safety is their #1 purchase criterion (Lingokids, 2026). Zoomi is our answer to both.
-
Invisible adaptive difficulty
An Elo-style skill rating keeps every child at roughly an 80% success rate — and the difficulty is never shown. Studies of adaptive learning apps find large learning gains, while non-adaptive games’ effects are statistically insignificant. A three-year-old and a six-year-old both feel great.
-
No-fail momentum play
In Lund University’s studies, no-fail momentum-based math games kept every child engaged across 6–10 weeks — including children with attention difficulties. In Zoomi you can slow down, but you can never lose.
-
Feedback as teaching
Feedback research is clear: showing the correction at the moment of the error teaches more than any score. So in Zoomi, a wrong answer becomes a three-second demonstration of the right one — a micro-lesson, not a penalty.
-
In-session streaks only
Streaks reward focus in the moment — three in a row earns a rainbow trail — then reset silently. No daily streaks, no sad pets, no “Zoomi misses you.” Habit hooks borrowed from casino design have no place in a kids’ app.

Questions parents actually ask.
What ages is Zoomi for?
Ages 3–6 — roughly preschool through kindergarten. The adaptive engine quietly matches each child’s level (it targets about an 80% success rate and never shows difficulty), so a three-year-old counting apples and a six-year-old adding groups both feel great in the same world. Everything is voice-narrated; no reading is required.
Does it really work offline?
Yes, completely. Every world, every question, and the goodnight ritual work with no internet connection at all — in the car, on a plane, at a restaurant. The only thing that needs a connection is making a purchase through the App Store.
What data do you collect about my child?
None. Zoomi has no accounts, no sign-ups, no servers, no third-party analytics, and no ads. Your child’s progress is stored only on your device, and deleting the app deletes it. The full plain-English version is in our privacy policy below.
What happens when time is up?
You set the session length in the parent dashboard (15 minutes by default). As the end approaches, the world eases into golden hour, then sunset; Zoomi yawns, pulls into its nest, and waves goodnight while a lullaby plays. Then the app truly stops. There’s no “one more round?” and no notification later — waking it back up sits behind a parental gate.
How do I cancel or get a refund?
All purchases run through Apple, so cancelling takes two taps: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. No chatbots, no “are you sure?” mazes — we don’t do retention tricks. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. And both subscriptions start with a 7-day free trial: cancel during the trial and you pay nothing.
What’s the difference between free and premium?
The free tier is the complete Sunny Meadow world with the full numeracy curriculum (counting 1–10, numeral recognition, which-has-more, simple addition, shapes) and the same adaptive engine as premium — we never cripple it. Premium adds three more worlds (Ocean Ride, Snowy Peaks, Night Rocket), the pre-literacy curriculum (letter recognition, letter sounds, patterns), and up to four child profiles. Everything is family-shareable.
